PLANNING AND ZONING
Consider request for rezoning of property from R-40 and GC to GC at 2080 Marietta Hwy. Applicant is also requesting a Special Use Permit to allow a plumbing contractor business. Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the applicant's request to rezone with four (4) conditions, and the request for a special use permit to allow a plumbing contractor business with one (1) condition.
Consider request for rezoning of 1.2 +/- acres from R-80 to R-40 at 5966 Vaughn Road. Applicant is also requesting a concurrent variance to eliminate the 10 foot zoning buffer. Planning Commission voted to recommend denial of the applicant's request.
Consider request for rezoning of 1.58 +/- acres from NC to GC at 6679 Hickory Flat Hwy. Planning Commission voted to recommend denial of the applicant's request.**Applicant is requesting to postpone this case until February 7th**
Hold public hearing and consider request of rezoning 0.344 +/- acres from LI to GC and 0.408 +/- acres from GC to LI at 6121 James Dupree Lane. Applicant also requests five (5) concurrent variances. Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the applicant's rezone request with conditions, and of the applicant's five (5) concurrent variances.
Consider adopting amendments to Article 7 of the Cherokee County Zoning Ordinance regarding storage facilities and consider ending the current 90 day moratorium per Resolution 2022-R-084.
Consider an annexation request from the City of Canton for approximately 2.82 acres that will be rezoned from R-40 to PD-R as part of a larger residential development.

CONSENT AGENDA
Consider approving seven Budget Amendments totaling $115,130.00 for allocations to the Multiple Grant Fund to continue grant projects that started in FY2022.
Consider accepting the annual Victim of Crime Act (VOCA) base award in the total amount of $175,086.00 on behalf of the Solicitor-General's Office to partially fund four advocate positions.
Consider accepting $2,000.00 on behalf of the District Attorney's Office from the U.S. Secret Service for cost reimbursement of an assigned joint operations task member.
Consider final acceptance of all public rights-of-way, roadways, and appurtenant drainage structures in the Prescott at Wade Green subdivision.
